sadly, this is true.

yeah

What can i say, it's a cruel world my friend.

indeed

yeah, its fucked up. but what are you going to do about it.

I mean, my lunch that i had today could probably feed a family of four in africa for the entire day. the money I spent on it could probably last them the whole month. and no harm would be done to myself, i just wait until dinner, no big deal. but with all due respect...is it really my problem that third world countries haven't developed properly and civilly over the last few centuries? is sending them money and resources going to help them solve their problems. Education, a more potent tool over the long term, already is largely unsuccessful. and lastly, if I send my money to impoverished victims, how do I know these "charities" that I give my money too aren't a front for something else? now i don't think this post was a cry to guilt-trip people into giving away their belongings as it was just a general, very real observation of the world..but my response is what it is. I would favor a socialistic global economy, which in theory helps everyone, but ideology is far from practicality. really all one can do is focus on bettering their local communities and help the world become less fucked up, one person at a time...

i know , we can't help them now the damage is already done we just have to deal with it

That's right my friend, unfortunately, we can't do nothing, we say, we order, we do everything for nothin'.
So well, my friend, the only thing we can do is sit, and watch it.

sit and watch .. yup i guess that's all what we can do right now

The world is cruel, people are just being stupid.

and selfish

This world isn't for the faint of heart.

oh really ? say that to the people in Somalia

Actually (aside from war), the statistics for violence have been going down, considering the rise in global populations. But make no mistake, without a real center/belief in God/laws of Men, humans can get up to some awful cruelty, simply because they can.

@S3C Local socialism is fine, but never on a National level... it's too much power in one place. Conversely, in places where there's war, power fluctuates, it splits, moves so much, the power vacuum allows terrible things to happen. Whether by law or God, we will hold against the tyranny of man or the wrath of God. We all come into the world with nothing, what do we go out with?

"We all come into the world with nothing, what do we go out with?" that's exactly what i'm talking about

@VicariousE- like I said, i know socialism isn't practical, even though nationally, that's not entirely true. (libraries, emergency & law enforcement services, roads, education up to high school is all socialized) I was speaking in terms of ideology- there's enough resources and food in the world where it could be spread as to where everyone can live comfortably, which was just an aside I made in light of the OP's lack of clothes/food/shelter points.

the idea is for the resources to be equally spread.."power" is another concept that naturallycannot stay in one place; every social institution/group has its leaders. And I would have no problem deferring this "power" to scientists and teachers and mathematicians. Instead it's lawyers turned politicians and businessmen and bankers that run the world, who are far from being the pinnacle of intellect. Not only does the former group tend to be significantly smarter, they are not driven by social status and capital and therefore less likely to brew corruption.

p.s. that's pretty cool- never knew you could tag people in comments.

Complaining about how bad the world is won't change anything.
Not everyone in the world is terrible, as it may seem. There're some really great people out there, whether it be a celebrity or just the average person you'll see on the street.

i know

So, 86.000.000 people are homeless and starving,
While other people go like
BITCH THIS FOOD IS SO UNCOOKED
and later flips the table

Oh yea
And maybe I should stop wasting money on toilet paper :P
I WILL MAKE MORE DONATIONS FROM TODAY!
FOR THE WORLD
AND DIGNITY
AND VENGEANCE
AND COOKIES
Wait what am I saying.......

Anyway, I'll make sure I'd be a part of those helping people from onwards
I swear.

all what we need is cookies

War is the only thing that can save us. And destroy us.

yeah a sword with two blades

"The truth is a sword of three blades; your truth, their truth and the actual truth."

well said sir

D,:
the agony, the shame, the guilt

:'(

It all depends upon how you look at it.
You get out of life what you put into it.
For example, Say there was a newborn who grew up and decided one day he wanted to become a great artist.
Now this being a early goal and dream that this person came up with decides to follow through and make this dream a reality, this person would have to climb over every obstacle that the world throws at us on a day to day bases.
Until one day this artist has finally gotten to his destination living a very successful life.

On the other hand there are those who are born with the same goals and dreams but never put anything into it and never get anything out of life. So do you see what i'm saying? Each and everyone of us is given life and what we do with it is our choice.

And with those of us whom have made goals for ourselves and realize them will leave our legacy behind. Our art pieces, our creations for everyone to enjoy! That's what we leave behind sure we may not take anything with us but it is knowing that we leave behind our artwork for others to look at and be inspired by is what makes life worth living. Giving help, knowledge, and techniques behind for others to follow and become great.

There is nothing of physical value that anyone leaves behind just mere knowledge and know how.

For me it's one day leaving behind several volumes of my own manga, anime, or even interactive flash animations. Who knows we as artist have this choice to make something of ourselves with our gifts :D.

So in short what I think.. Is that despite the hardships everyone goes through life is indeed worth living.. It just takes time, and patience to get to the goal my friend.

yeah there's nothing wrong with what you said but there is some people who didn't even have the chance to work for their dreams , some children forced to leave school and get a job just to get some food , i know life isn't fair at all but here comes our part to help them that's why we're humans we SHOULD help each others , for example when i grow up and if i got the potentiality i'll adopt as many children as i can and treat them just like my own kids and give them a CHANCE to success and make their own names in life , that's the least thing everyone should do if we don't want god to lose faith in us

I'm just sayin' that this world really pushes people into doing things they might not want to do, and if you don't want to do something, that doesn't mean the next person won't. And if you have to do something to survive you have to be willing to risk it. Unfortunately, like I stated before, This world isn't for the faint of heart.

well said

Humans are the reason we have sadness death cruelty abuse would the world be better if humans never existed yes we have helped but we waste the world each day throw out paper we are using up alot of the worlds resources we all deserve to die one day no matter how much good you've done you know you have also hurt the world and people (i kinda feel depressed but whatever)

yeah we destroyed our planet with our own hands , that's sucks
